Indigenous Acknowledgement

One Red Tree Resource Centre Inc and all the individuals who make up our organisation respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the country on which we live and work. We especially acknowledge the Djab Wurrung people, and other peoples on whose ancestral lands One Red Tree Resource Centre provides services to the community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge their living culture and centuries of custodianship of these lands, which were never ceded. We acknowledge that the land on which we stand always was and always will be Aboriginal land.

LGBTQI+ Acknowledgement

One Red Tree Resource Centre Inc acknowledge that we respect everyone’s right to freely identify and affirm their sexual or romantic orientation and gender identity, including terms such as lesbian, gay, transgender, non-binary, gender diverse, genderqueer, queer, aromantic, asexual, bisexual, pansexual, sistergirls and brotherboys. We support the rights of people born with intersex variations to be free from discrimination and mistreatment on the basis of their sex characteristics.

Complaints, Compliments & Feedback

Ellie McDougall- Principal of Ararat College

“Being in a rural area, access to psychologists and mental health support has previously been non-existent. The development of One Red Tree Resource Centre has resulted in clear access to mental health supports for our local community and very importantly the young people within it. This is something that is not possible in many other rural or even regional areas”.
