One Red Tree's vision is to become a centre of excellence in providing high-quality, evidence-based mental health care across the rural community of Ararat and surrounding areas in the Grampians region of Victoria.
 

All of One Red Tree's practitioners are skilled in the delivery of evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment. Their point of difference is that we deliver our clinical services within a model of relational partnerships.

Creating The Future Workforce
Regional and rural communities face critical shortages in mental health services and trained mental health professionals. One Red Tree RC will provide placement and employment opportunities to provisionally registered and early-career psychologists via their partnership with Federation University. The partnership ensures the centre will have ongoing access to the staff we require to increase access to service, reach more community members, and reduce the cost of providing a high-quality service. It also creates a pathway from tertiary education to work-integrated learning and employment as a strategy to attract and retain psychologists in our community.
 

One Red Tree will create a vehicle for workforce development and a sustainable service-delivery model through a partnership with the higher education sector. It will build the mental health of our communities by connecting with, empowering and upskilling members of community organisations, schools, clubs and businesses.
